The Project Sets Out an Anthemic Garage Rock Song with ‘Over You’

The Project’s tracks are high energy garage rock compositions that are anthemized by strident riffs and pounding beats. Led by veteran musician and vocalist, James Davis, the band debuted earlier this year with their single, Best Days. It not only introduced the band’s style but launched them as a compelling music group in the Cali-Rock scene. ‘Over You’ is the outfit’s sophomore single. Bolstered with that same feel-good rises and evocative vocals, it takes the listener back to the classic rock builds of late 90s and early 2000s.

The track is formed by superimposing spirited percussion with addictive riff symmetry. James’ vocals have the classic lead vocalist charisma, with a potential to transform the entire landscape and energy of a song. If you enjoy the hearty melodic rock of The Smiths, Morrissey, and The Strokes, this band is for you. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
