Song Review/ Indie Rock : Tom Minor’s ‘Is Everything Okay?’

Tom Minor’s music has a lot of dimensions to it. Ranging from humor and drama to contemplative flows and refreshing perspective, he occupies a unique sonic space. His latest is ‘Is Everything Okay?’, a track that encourages the listener to indulge in their emotions, explore how they feel and express it honestly. The track is crafted entirely with acoustics and vocals; with one gaining significance and meaning from the other. There is also a whimsy built into the song that manifests as absurd symmetries, just for a bit before it goes back into the flow of the track.

The lyrics are especially a seat for absurd imagery, floating across histrionic melodic spaces. Perhaps, this is tied into the normalizing feeling not okay. A conceptual root that nicely flows into the experience of the track. To be well, you have to first be free. Listen Now!
