Song Review/ Contemporary Pop : Laughing Cats’ ‘Jerk’

Laughing Cats is a pop rock, singer-songwriter duo consisting of Tony Fredianelli and Lauren Schiff. They create vivacious blends of music that tell stories, fleshed out with evoking melodies and beautiful vocal frames. The connection between the theme and the flow is quite powerful, remarkably progressive and refreshing.

Their sophomore single is ‘Jerk’, an introspective track forming in the wake of a break up. The protagonist explores her emotional unavailability within the relationship that caused her partner to leave her. The instrumentals are a synth-acoustic fluidity, carrying the winds of her voice and thoughts to a deeper dimension of expression. There is that contemporary pop element which then lifts into a blooming electronic field. Listen Now!

Check out their Instagram and Facebook!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
