With a spectrum of rock, emerging from alt rock, acoustic rock, and a more contemporary ethos, he details the theme. ‘Lay On’ is one of the softer presentations. It is mellow, contemplative, ambient, and full of the protagonist’s consciousness. With intimate lyrics and plush melodies, he attaches to the listener with vulnerability.
