Single Review : Eddie Cohn’s ‘Keep Them Away’

Eddie Cohn’s discography is his love letter to rock. The artist, influenced by the 80s greats like Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden, creates a new brand of indie rock that is textured and heavy while also being light and elating. He engages the listener with compositions that are as balanced as they are creative. In his latest release, ‘Keep Them Away’, the LA based artist takes on a millennial rebel persona, as a reaction to the social media culture at the moment.

Designed as an underdog anthem, it is sparked with pop rock in the chorus. Loud and prolonged instrumentals, warm vocals, and all these 90s-inspired frames of playing truant, running wild and vibrant as you’re trying to figure it all out. If you’re the kind of person who is passionate about individuality, riffs, and interesting narratives, then this one's for you!
