Blindness & Light : ‘We All Lose’ (Radio Edit)

Blindness & Light is a musical collective of like-minded artists and musicians. They formed as organically and naturally as their music is. Sometimes, they are philosophers and thinkers who elevate their themes with new perspectives and interactions. And other times, like in this latest release, ‘We All Lose’ (Radio Edit), they are social revolutionists. The track is about people who end up in a relationship with someone who hides their true dark right-wing views. Referring to the racists as sub-human, a dystopia forms, one that derails collective social harmony, consciousness, and cultures.

Colin M Potter is the solo musician on this track. Using a layered instrumentation technique, he conceptualizes the pervasive impact of racism on society. You’ll see brighter riffs, vivid textures, and a trailing resonance that pushes you to think and contemplate the theme. The rhythm is mellow and measured. And the vocals are drenched in the melancholy of ill-formed prejudice and misplaced pride. Listen Now!
