Pork Pie’s Alt Rock Spiral Flourishes in ‘Helplessly Waiting’

Pork Pie’s spirit is an electric spiral that is as spontaneous and spirited as a storm. The alternative rock band really channels the varying ethos of 20th century rock, building them up with interesting and intense ideas and sonic structures. Exploring blues and funk alongside classic rock, pop rock, and 90s indie, they reference a range of artists and bands.

Their latest release is ‘Helplessly Waiting’, edgy and engaging, it is reminiscent of artists like Glass Animals and Tame Impala, but also carries streaks of The Beatles, Queen, Linkin Park, and Jimi Hendrix as well. The riff design is so intuitive and smooth as it excites the rhythm. Combined with the groovy funk of the beats, meaty basslines, blues and rock n roll, the track sets out the supreme eclectic quotients of the band. Listen Now!
