Fabio Cicala’s ‘The Words I Didn’t Say’ : The Language of the Past
Fabio Cicala is a guitarist and a neo jazz/ blues artist. His instrument and him share a distinct language, one of conversations, silence, feelings, and all the moments in between. So much so that, with just a thread of melody, plucked, curved, and straightened out, he is able to convey some of the most intimate thoughts of his mind. In his sophomore single, ‘The Words I Didn’t Say’, he uses raw, guitar plucks to tell a story about passion, of the memories and time shared between two lovers. But what was left behind are words that were left unsaid.
He unwraps his mind in this song, picking up one word at a time, and showing it to the Sun, to his listeners. There are nostalgic sentiments interspersed within the track, one that travels back and then comes back to the present bearing a melancholic heart. It is a story of an aching heart and a wandering mind. Listen Now!
