Ari Joshua’s ‘Tagine’ is an Abstract Alt Jazz Philosophy

Ari Joshua’s experimental ethos is an ever evolving tapestry. Even in staticity, he achieves movement and dynamism. There’s so many layers to his songwriting and composition. He tickles the consciousness, infusing it slowly with his sonic philosophies. And next thing you know, it’s moving, forming, and growing in you.

His latest release, ‘Tagine’ is one such composition. Melting abstract jazz notes, cymbal clashes, and progressive electro accents with dissonance, chaotic fusions, and distorting grooves, he draws the multi-dimensional potion to honor the slow-simmered stew of northwestern Africa (Tagine). It is one of those dishes that takes simple, daily use ingredients and transforms it with complex culinary chemistry. Drawing from this essence, Ari Joshua also follows suit. Listen now to experience the prolific sound recipes of this artist.
