Teenatown’s ‘holy victor’ Displays Fantastic Pop-Punk Sound

Teenatown is a singer-songwriter and pop artist. Her tracks, often vocal-led, explore a range of pop accents from disco, punk and rock to softer, more soulful flows. For her latest release, ‘holy victor’ Teenatown collaborates with musician duo, Cyanide Sunshine. Blending soft pop with the harder textures of electric riffs and slapping beats, the track unites an Adelesque passion with youthful punk builds. Seamed in beautifully, it’s a very evocative composition that flows with the intuitive melodies and tonalities.

The track opens with pensive piano keys. Her vocals emulates the undulating melodies that carry grief and tragedy so elegantly. Progressively, the inflections and octaves become more ardent. As they drive through the luminous riffs and lifting beat spheres, they split into layers of ethereal harmonies and arresting vocal accents that all embellish the main vocal stem and the overall theme. The listening experience of the track is reminiscent of Paramour’s Hayley Williams and perhaps a modern Fiona Apple.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
