Song Review/ Rock : Brian Lambert’s ‘Take My Heart’
Brian Lambert is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and rock artist with an edge that is vintage and piercing. His tracks hold a kind of old school energy, especially in the instrumental textures, riff clouds, in the grooves and vocal delivery. ‘Take My Heart’ is the artist’s latest release. Gritty, emboldened, and a whole lot of sensational, the track resonates powerful. It’s almost as if the music is lifting off of the soundscape and entering the actual world.
All the ways in which he uses the guitar is hardcore. The grit, the rolling grooves and the humming riffs. It is both a daze and disillusion. Think Nirvana, and deep rock artists like that.If you enjoy the 80s garage style rock with hypnotic grunge accents and a very faint country accent, you’re sure to enjoy this track.
