Song Review/ Rock - KaiserKillers’ ‘Heavenly in Black’

KaiserKillers is a rock band from the 20th century. They wield style, power and performance so effortlessly that is eloquent. Their latest release is ‘Heavenly in Black’, a track that is made to carve out the feeling of looking good and knowing that you look good. That emotion of just feeling yourself, and the resultant confidence, presence and attitude. All of it makes the track.

The textures and grooves are crunchy and textured but the charisma, the energy and the vibes are so smooth and immaculate. Think 70s and 80s rock n roll with bits of funk, folk, and a whole lot of classic rock. The guitar work is great. With its layered details and expanding grooves, it all inflates like a heart in love.
