Song Review/ Psychedelic Rock : The All’s Eye’s ‘The Simian’

Ari Joshua is back with yet another creative project, ‘The All’s Eye’. And much like the banner’s title suggests, it is stylistically promiscuous, slipping, sliding and playing with blues, jazz, psychedelic rock, soul styles. It casts an ambiguous ambience that the artist is known and loved for. The result is a big splash of music that energises, elevates, and revives you. Because it’s so new, so wholesome, fresh and most importantly passionate. His latest release is ‘The Simian’, a track that features the talents and contributions of Kris Yunker, Ben Atkind, and Jason Hann.

The guitar based rock track branches out in so many directions, returning to each other, weaving a dense and intricate tapestry of folk, neoclassicals, afrobeats. The jazz structures are undertones, influencing every element both in big and small ways. And in that way, the manifestation of styles, their essence is so thoughtfully layered. And just like that, many permutations and combinations of expressions are born, just for the sake of it, just for the sake of passion and just for the sake of joy. Listen Now!
