Song Review/ Alt Folk : Hybrid Kid’s ‘Cry’

Hybrid Kid, like the banner suggests, is an explorative and experimental project. As a one-man rock band, it expounds a lot about the artist’s roots and vision. Because it is classic and contemporary, edgy and expressive. Lot of bridges form as the artist delves into the fringes of garage rock, indie, and alt folk to combine them all to form a new sound. His latest release is ‘Cry’, a somber, gloomy and dazing track that flies into the alternative radar.

The contrast of the luminous instrumentals and the vocal emotions illuminate the theme in such a unique perspective. It takes on so many layers, gets cast in so many through trains and directions that you can keep falling into it. The quality of the composition and the atmosphere is sure to keep you coming back for more. Listen Now!
