JD Days Alt Rock Ethos is Especially Stellar in ‘Take Me Down’

JD Days is an alt rock band with an edge that traverses styles and epochs of rock. Their soundscapes are marked with vivid instrumentals, youthful energy, and novel vision. ‘Take Me Down’ is the latest, defiant, angsty, passionate, powerful, and electric new single. The guitar work is spectacular with multiple layers, spiky textures, dizzying basslines, and fluid chemistry. It vibes perfectly with the anthemic vocal rises, blooming bass lines and the percussive riot.

It’s like a live electric wire is running through the track, sizzling and sparkling. We see the coarse power of garage rock riffs fusing with 90s hard rock. And the Britpop elements in the chorus are quite enjoyable. Melodic lines are largely experimental; ringing with a mercurial disposition that will keep you on your toes and blow your mind at every turn. If Aesrosmith or U2 collaborated with The Who, Santana, and The Velvet Underground, JD Days is probably what the result would sound like. Listen Now!
