James Haynes’ ‘Foundations’ is an Acoustic Rock Contemplation

James Haynes is a singer-songwriter and indie alt artist. His latest release is the ‘Foundations EP’, a five track collection that forms around introspective themes like self-discovery, making mistakes, healing, learning, and growing. It is all about falling in love with the process. The title track introduces the EP with an alt country, indie pop, and acoustic rock collaboration. Through a blend of acoustic frames, atmospheric riffs, and epiphanic vocal arrangement, the artist demonstrates how most of everything our life will become boils down to the foundations we lay.

Charmed by old school artists and classic styles and inspired by contemporary design, his work is the best of both worlds. You’ll catch references to artists like Dave Matthews, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Eagles but also see a lot of James Taylor, John Mayer, and the like. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
