Heart of Pine’s ‘Phetamine & Pearls’ : Scintillatingly Dynamic Indie Rock

Heart of Pine was formed in 2015 by Steven Bagwell and Travis Richardson following a series of highly productive songwriting sessions. It can be best described as a country hued indie rock banner. But their essence is multifaceted. Infiltrated by gradients of blues, jazz, and rock n roll, the listening experience is so scintillatingly dynamic. Their latest release is ‘Phetamine & Pearls’, a track with a grand variation.

Forged with orchestral structures, funky blues rock solos, and a simultaneous acoustic plane, it is incredibly cinematic. Animated instrumental arcs provide a great contrast to the mellow passions of the baritones. It’s as if the soundscape was designed to carry the extrapolated sentiments of the heart. It is retro, yet full of innovation and creative ideas. Listen Now!

Check out their Instagram, Facebook, and Bandcamp!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
