Goldfinch Emulate Old-School Rock Legends with Debut Single, ‘Calabasas’

Goldfinch is a South Texan indie rock group. Founded by singer, Tony Shepherd, the band was born out of the solitude, isolation, and turmoil that he experienced during the pandemic. Goldfinch has just released their debut single, ‘Calabasas’, a melodic and slapstick rock production that is instantly reminiscent of the Queen. Listen Now! 

The track is an interesting commentary on the constant barrage of consumerism and targeted ads that make you feel like you never have enough. Set up with wiry grooves, boxy percussion, and satirical vocal commentary, the soundscape represents the theme iconically.
