Glass Cabin Presents Rustic Americana with Album, ‘Glass Cabin 2’

Glass Cabin couture traditional Americana with rustic folk country rock to create etching compositions. The duo present these sonic frames with moments of modernity, experimentation, and unique interpretations. With subtle variations in texture or tonality, the sound is progressively tweaked to beautifully reflect the depths of the human mind and heart. This latest album, ‘Glass Cabin 2’ is the second part of their self-titled double album. Its eight tracks have the tempered vagabond country boy vibe of Bob Dylan and haunting melancholy of Nick Drake. Listen Now!

The album is introduced with ‘I Wanna Live’. Its instrumentals are crisp and vivid, forming communities of emotion around the raspy baritones. The resonance of the banjo sparkles across the body of guitar riffs, and the vocals dilate across octaves and evocations as they carve out the joy and small wonders of life. ‘Weary Man’ and ‘Closing Down Bars’ follow with similar luminescent textures and live instrumentation.

‘Sam Shephard Play’ is a softer composition. Lined with loose acoustic strums and roaming melodies, the vocals present melancholy like a bouquet. ‘Travelling Man’ is raw and woody. As vintage as it comes. It is marked by the quality of freedom, marking the throaty fabric of the vocals and the sharpness of the melodies.

‘Some Kind of Love’ and ‘I Don’t Mind The Rain’ are dreamy alt-country tracks. Deviced with smooth and continuous melody formations, the vocals present like an extension of this circuit. The sentiment stretches out of the guitar flows. And the melancholy spreads through like a mist.

Finally, ‘Damn Myself’. It is a warm acoustic dance. Overcast with a confessional languor, the vocals twinkle occasionally with nostalgia. It is so beautifully envisioned. Usually, we see memories narrated with words. But here, the artists play to our human intuitions, as the vocals fathom memories with emotion. It is induced with stray imagery and frames from a life lived long ago.

Glass Cabin details their soundscape with powerful thematic sensibilities that make the listening experience immersive. Once you plug into them, it is natural to get lost in the world that they draft. They make old country styles relevant in this new world.

The album is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
