Fringe Frontier’s ‘Livin’ Not to Lose’ : A Retro Surf Rock Float

Fringe Frontier is like a music shack at the edge of the world. Their style and compositions brim with that rock promiscuity and the alt rock edge. The band is known to roam along the edges of punk, progressively loading it with expansive shoegaze accents, textured garage rock, and a whole plethora of other styles.

Their latest is ‘Livin’ Not to Lose’, a track that features gratifying frames of 70s melodic rock. Like The Beatles and The Beach Boys. That retro surf imagery warms up the heart like a summer sun. Now add to that a very Dylanesque voice, razor sharp and piercing travelling through these roads like a sky blue Cadillac.

A carefree, youthful, and liberated spirit emerges that flies on and floats through. With this track, the the atmosphere that they set is quite interesting, merging the old timer with their reinvented modern counterparts. We see that indie rock, fluid form over familiar influences, iconic sonic feel, all fleshed out with a soft shoegaze element. Listen Now!
