Experience SVYNX’s Prog Rock Edge with ‘This is Not Art’

SVYNX forms on the edge of music, on the fringes where there’s adrenaline, excitement, innovation, and imagination. The alt rock duo are unstoppable with rhythms, irrepressibly novel, and surmounting powerful. And it passes on to the listener through the medium of their music. So get ready to be transported to the horizon of music where the boundaries are blurred, the potential is boundless, and infinity is the norm. Their latest album is titled ‘This is Not Art’, a collection that demonstrates the progressive rock in new and uninhabited sonic cultures. It drives up the value of alt rock, punk, grunge, and even post rock with its sharp evolutions, smart ideas, and seamless execution.

‘Art Won’t Save Me Now’ introduces the collection. And instantly it is alien with a dimension of mystery, darkness, and colorful fun. The riffs are coarse, but the synths ping off fantastically. A fiery wall of vocals rise with the brimming basslines. And the beats are hardcore and heavy. ‘Follow Me’ keeps this beat dynamism going. In this track, it is fantastically experimental, a fitting dimension to the garage rock inspired riffs, knotted basslines, and haunting vocal lines.

‘Harvest Season’ is comparatively mellow, but novel nonetheless. Made with shimmering textures, bokeh vocals, and fluid instrumentals, it is fluid except when it gains anthemic heights midway before it falls to flow again. ‘Feed Me’ is a driving, blistering, hardcore, nu metal composition with a momentum that will blast you right off.

‘Europa’ is a slow formation, a gradual rise that is alight with post rock. Then dissipates into a hard rock atmosphere. The riffs are meaty and gruff, flashing through the fuzzy bass screen. Again, in this track we see a lot of dynamism and experimentals that just change the dimensions of the song altogether. Finally, ‘Never At Ease’ and ‘Alexandria’ are spectacularly explosive with hard hitting beats, warping basslines, and soaring riffs. Fiery and alive, these tracks are premium excitations of prog rock with arcs that tear open the mind and infuse energy and emotions within. Listen Now!
